Tangy Fresh Vegetable Marinade

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 4 Stalks Broccoli
  • 8 Whole Mushrooms - Slived Or Halved
  • 1 Whole Green Pepper - Diced
  • 3 Stalks Celery - Sliced
  • 1 Whole Cauliflower - Small
  • 3 Whole Carrots - Sliced
  • 1 Whole Red Onion - Sliced
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 2 tsp Dry Mustard
  • 1/2 Cup Vinegar
  • 1 Cup Cooking Oil
  • 2 tsp Poppy Seeds

Directions

Mix the Sugar, Mustard, Salt, Vinegar, Cooking Oil and Poppy Seeds first into a bowl. Mix thoroughly.

Next, Prepare the vegetables- Parboil the carrots and break the Broccoli and Cauliflower into florets.

Combine the Sugar mixture with the vegetables. Place vegetable marinade in the refrigerator at least 3 hours.

Serve.
