Celery -ketchup Marinade

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup Ketchup
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/3 cup Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Celery Seeds
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1/2 tsp Coarsely Ground Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Crushed Basil
  • Dash Of Tabasco

Directions

Combine all ingredients.

Simmer uncovered 10 minutes.

Cool to room temperature.

Pour marinade over a flank steak (about 1 1/2 pounds).

Scored, in a shallow baking dish.

Let stand in refrigerator overnight.

Broil meat on both sides 5-7 minutes.

Heat marinade and pass to spoon over cooked meat.
