Two great marinades, which add flavour to chicken, meat or vegetables, perfect for summertime barbecues.
Method
Mix all the marinade ingredients together with a fork. Add the prepared meat or vegetables of your choice. Leave for at least half an hour before threading onto skewers and cooking on the barbecue.
MARINADE WITH LEMON AND ROSEMARY:
Make the marinade the same as above, but substitute the thyme with same amount of rosemary.
Serving Suggestion:
New potatoes cooked in the kitchen (steam or boil) until barely tender. Put into the marinade for about half an hour. Serve as a salad for a barbecue.
