Prepare the shrimps for skewering by soaking the bamboo sticks in water for 5 to 10 minutes to prevent it from burning and sticking to the shrimp. Place the skewered shrimps (about 3 pieces for medium size shrimps) on a baking pan.
Mix the marinade ingredients and pour over the skewered shrimps. Cover the pan and marinade in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours or for best results, overnight. Turn the shrimps over for even marinating. Grill when ready.
