Cooked Marinade For Venison

Ingredients

1 tbsp. Thyme
1 tbsp. Basil
1 tbsp. Cloves
1 tbsp. Allspice Berries
6 Crushed Cloves Garlic
8 c. Vinegar
1/4 c. Cooking Oil
1 c. Chopped Carrot
1 c. Chopped Celery
1 c. Chopped Onion
3 pcs. Bay Leaves
1/2 c. Coarsely Chopped Parsley
Pinch Of Mace
1 tbsp. Crushed Peppercorns
4 c. Water

Directions

Saute the onion, celery, and carrot in cooking oil. Set aside. Mix the remaining ingredients. Add the meat. Simmer everything for one hour. Strain. Let cool. Serve.
