Chinese Marinade

Ingredients

Chinese Marinade

1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Soy Sauce
1 tsp 5 Spices
2 tbsp Ketchup
2 tbsp Hoisin Sauce
1/2 cup Sweet Red Wine

Directions

Mix the hoisin, ketchup, 5 spices, soy sauce, sugar and red wine together in a large bowl.

Pour it over the chicken and let it marinate 6-8 hours. (Overnight would be preferred).

Put your chicken covered in marinade in a baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1.5 hours.

This marinade also works on beef or pork too.
